  • Proper candle care is essential for a safe and enjoyable experience. Whether you're lighting a decorative pillar candle or a fragrant jar candle, here are some tips to ensure your candles burn beautifully and safely:

    • Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch (0.64 cm) in length. A trimmed wick ensures a cleaner and more even burn while preventing excessive smoke and soot.

    • Use a Candle Snuffer: Extinguish your candle with a candle snuffer or lid rather than blowing it out. Blowing can create smoke and cause the wick to drift off-center, leading to an uneven burn.

    • Removing Flowers: The candle is only pretty until you burn it. The flowers are real natural dried flower and either need to be trimmed down or pushed back so that it will not interact with the flame. As the candle burns, you can remove the flowers to prevent from burning.

    • Burn Time: The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn until the wax pool reaches the edge of the container. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn in future uses.

    • Avoid Drafts: Keep your candle away from drafts, as they can cause uneven burning, dripping, or even extinguish the flame. Place candles on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
